Introduction to Rotala H'ra
Rotala sp. "H'ra" originates from Vietnam and is renowned for its remarkably narrow leaves and overhanging growth. It is a variant closely related to Rotala rotundifolia but stands out due to its unique coloration and leaf shape.
Growth and Care
This plant exhibits a creeping or overhanging growth habit, making it ideal for creating dense, colorful bushes in the background or middleground of an aquascape. To achieve the most intense orange and red coloration, high light intensity and supplemental CO2 injection are highly recommended.
Aquascaping Application
With its vibrant hues, Rotala H'ra serves as an excellent contrast against bright green aquatic plants. Regular trimming encourages lateral shoots, resulting in a thick, fiery canopy that adds immense depth and warmth to any planted tank.
