Introduction
Rotala rotundifolia "Hra" is an exceptional variant of the classic Rotala rotundifolia, originally collected in the Gia Lai province of Vietnam. It stands out due to its slightly narrower leaves and its remarkable ability to develop intense red and orange coloration under optimal conditions.

Growth and Care
While it shares the robust nature of standard Rotala rotundifolia, the "Hra" variant truly shines when provided with high light and supplemental CO2. Under intense lighting, its growth habit tends to become more creeping or horizontal, making it ideal for shaping into dense, vibrant bushes. Regular trimming encourages lateral shoots, enhancing the thick, bushy appearance highly sought after in aquascaping.
Aquascaping Application
Its striking colors make it a perfect focal point or background plant to contrast against bright green foregrounds. The fine texture of its narrow leaves adds a sense of scale and delicacy to both nano tanks and large nature aquariums.
