Comments from Mr. Jiangang Diao (People's Republic of China)

The Best Aquarium I selected this year displays an exceptionally high standard of artistry and technical proficiency, perfectly blending natural aesthetics with the harmony of an underwater ecosystem. This piece stands out for its intricate composition and realistic representation of nature. The artist skillfully uses various types of aquatic plants, creating a deep space through a clear arrangement of the foreground, middle ground, and background. These layers interact with one another, making the whole work resemble an underwater landscape painting. The combination of colors is another standout feature, with deep greens, light greens, and red aquatic plants complementing one another, bringing vitality to the scene while maintaining a harmonious balance. The selection and arrangement of driftwood are particularly thoughtful, with the distinctive shapes of the wood contrasting beautifully with the softness of the plants, adding to the visual impact. The schools of fish add accents, making the overall layout feel more alive and natural, as if you were gazing at a real natural waterway. This work not only demonstrates the creator's profound understanding of aquatic plant cultivation and layout techniques but also reflects his love for natural landscapes and dedication to artistic creation. It strikes a perfect balance between technical skill and artistry, resulting in a breathtaking aquatic plant layout.
