Though the size difference between the front and back might feel unbalanced at first glance, it emphasizes depth and leaves a lasting impression. The central background space might feel too centered in terms of traditional composition rules, but this bold choice actually strengthens the overall impact of the work.

Comments from Mr. Andrě Longarço (Brazil)
This remarkable piece truly stands out among the others, largely due to its plasticity combined with its exceptional technical quality. The depth conveyed in this work is striking, offering what feels like an endless path through the clearing of a magnificent forest. The meticulous attention to detail is evident in every corner of the com- position, showing careful execution across the layout. The shadows, textures, and contrasts are harmoniously balanced, making the use of contrasting colors almost unnecessary. Even without the red and warm tones, the work remains captivating and well balanced. Perhaps, if "the Amano void" were positioned more displaced towards the golden ratio, the work would gain more dynamism. I do not believe that the center is the best position for it. This piece reflects a deep commitment to detail and a dedication to portraying naturalness. When viewing it, one cannot help but be immersed in the natural atmosphere, transported to the heart of nature through an array of sensations and sensory experiences. Choosing this as the top entry was a difficult decision, but I am fully confident that this work is truly deserving of the highest recognition. My heartfelt congratulations.

As in previous years, IAPLC received many high-level entries, and 2024 proved to be anoth- er year filled with brilliant works. The top entries showcased a variety of layout styles, each evoking a different kind of emotional impact. Whether it was the lushly arranged Nature Aquariums or large, striking compositions, all of these works effectively represented ADA's philosophy of "Learn from nature". This is all thanks to IAPLC's rigorous and professional judging process, which has allowed each aquascaper to create higher-quality works, enriching all of us with their experience. This year, I achieved 3rd place. I would like to start by expressing my deepest gratitude to the judges for their encouragement and recognition. On the night of August 31, as I watched the live stream of the results and saw the outstand- ing works of other participants, I felt incredibly nervous. When my name appeared as the 3rd place winner, I was completely surprised, as it was an outcome I hadn't anticipated. I immediately shared this joy with my family and friends. IAPLC is the largest aquascaping contest in the world, and achieving a high ranking is a huge dream for aquascapers. The remarkable works of the other participants gave me many opportunities to learn, while also driving me to create even more outstanding and perfect works. Once again, I am deeply thankful to ADA for providing us with this opportunity to express ourselves
