The framework is showing that the old tree root rotten by the water flow for a long time creates a huge cave hanging outside. However, it is still very strong and the cave on the root becomes a hiding place for the fishes. When you start to walk into the deep forest from the right side, you can hear the sound of turbulent water from the left front. Keep hiking, then you can lay on the small hill and look down. The old root washed by the water has become a cave with the rock on the side. It is the safe place for fishes to hide. At the back, I chose the red water plant in order to create the sunset. The afterglow reflected in the depths of the forest, covering the earth with quiet and glow.

Good depth, texture on the right side could be more defined. The fauna was perfect in shadow and movement, to have been even better it had to be inverted to follow the flow of the layout. The contrast of light projected from the left side modified the color and I found it a little unnecessary. Very good water column reflex with subtle movement. Congratulations.

By far my favourite aquascape of the competition. I really like the ratio of moss planting and hardscape so the wood is still visible and not hidden by the plants. The mix of the two species of fish also works really well in the scape, matching the colour of the wood and background. For future shoots the designer may benefit from shading the top light so the blacks are not washed out at the top of the photograph
