Many congratulations to all participants and many thanks to all Judges for their time and effort evaluating all participations!!! The scape has been elected as the Best Tank on the Contest by two judges: adam_paszczela and Oliver Mengedoht, special thanks to them.
I created this landscape from scratch, with no images or scenes for reference. Completely made with my imagination and trying to emulate a piece of Nature based on a forest crossed by a dry river. The name of the landscape is RIU GES (Ges River) which is a river next to my house in Osona/Catalunya(Catalonia). I tried to make a strong and consistent foreground with large rocks and make light and detailed layers to give a great sense of depth. The plants have adapted correctly to the landscape. It was the first time I made tree leaves with Montecarlo plant and it has developed very well since this plant can adapt perfectly without a substrate if the nutrients in the water are well balanced .
I hope you like it. Only with this, I will be completely happy and proud enough !!! Also this is a great tribute for my Father, that sadly we loss this week. For you, Dad !!! -- Bernat Hosta Rovira / Andorra
