It is a forest style , based on mosses, where I tried to compose a dark and warm atmosphere to potentiate the contrast between shadows and lights, and triyng to create a good depth effect to flow viewers into the forest… Let me show you my scape for 2023 !!! - Bernat Hosta Rovira / Andorra
IAPLC 2023 - FILIPE D’OLIVEIRA FOREST- RANK 142
I enjoyed a lot working with some new mosses unknown for me. To discover and experiment new plants is one of my weakness on this great hobbie. Some of the new mosses grow quite fast and requires a great dedication to trim and shape them, so this scape has been very time demanding!!!
I,m very happy with the final picture result, maybe for me, it is “the prefered” of my scapes. But I,m not very happy with the result I got on IAPLC contest. To be out of TOP100 scapes means that the scape has not been seen nor evaluated by the judges.
As commented on previous posts I named this scape as "Filipe D'Oliveira Forest" as a tribute and recognition to this great Aquascaper and friend. His great love, passion, corauge and profesionality for this hobbie should be alive forever in the
Aquascaping World. And this was my little contribution to keep his memory between us.
